Meet Milo Wilkinson
I'm not your typical behavioural scientist. I'm a decipherer of human patterns, and frankly, I've seen humanity from every angle imaginable—from the boardrooms of Fortune 100 companies to the minds of psychopaths, from elite sports locker rooms to high-security interrogation rooms.
My fascination with human behaviour started as a child, where I became the quiet observer, constantly wondering why people acted the way they did. That curiosity transformed into an obsession, then into seven degrees across neuroscience, psychology, criminal sciences, and psychotherapy. But here's the thing—I didn't just study behaviour, I lived it. I've profiled criminals, coached CEOs, worked with elite athletes, and even collaborated with Harvard's Neuroscience Department on world-first research into the unconscious brain.
What makes me different? I don't just predict behaviour—I decode it. I bridge the gap between the mystery of human action and the science behind why we do what we do. And I do it in a way that actually makes sense to real people dealing with real challenges.
My Why
Here's what drives me: Every person is a unique nexus of experiences, beliefs, and motivations, navigating the world through a lens tinted by their individual circumstances. Yet we treat people like they're all the same. I became a behavioural scientist to decipher the code of human behaviour because I believe that when we truly understand the "why" behind people's actions, everything changes. We stop judging symptoms and start addressing causes. We stop forcing change and start facilitating transformation. We stop managing people and start leading humans.
My personal journey has taught me that our past doesn't define our future, but understanding our patterns gives us the power to rewrite them. That's what I want to give everyone I work with: the power to understand themselves and others at a level that creates genuine, lasting change.
The world needs leaders who understand that social rejection registers as physical pain in the brain, that belonging can literally increase IQ, and that our ancient DNA still drives modern behaviour. We need people who can navigate the paradox of human adaptability while honouring our fundamental need for psychological safety.
My Accomplishments
Academic Excellence: Seven degrees across cognitive and clinical neurosciences, criminal sciences, psychology, and psychotherapy. Not because I love studying, but because human behaviour is too complex to understand from just one angle.
World-First Research: Collaborated with Harvard University's Neuroscience Department on groundbreaking research into the unconscious brain. We're literally redefining how we understand human instinct and decision-making.
Global Recognition: Worked as Peak Performance Behavioural Scientist for elite sporting teams including the Sydney Swans, European Rugby, and NBA teams. When performance matters most, they call me. Criminal Justice Impact: My work as a criminal profiler has helped solve cases and understand the most complex criminal minds. Understanding behaviour at the extremes gives me insights others miss.
Corporate Transformation: Advised Fortune 100 boardrooms on leadership, change management, and organisational psychology. When billions are on the line, understanding human behaviour becomes critical. Predictive Accuracy: My behavioral predictions help organisations navigate change, leaders optimise performance, and teams build genuine trust. I don't just study behaviour—I forecast it.
Global Speaking Platform: From multinational corporations to elite sports teams, from government agencies to international conferences, my keynotes transform how people understand themselves and others.
Fun facts
I've never met a psychopath I couldn't read: Criminal profiling taught me that even the most manipulative minds follow predictable patterns. It's both fascinating and terrifying how transparent we all are once you know what to look for.
I was the quiet kid who became the loud adult: From being the observer in foster care to captivating audiences of 450+ people, I've learned that understanding human behaviour is the ultimate superpower for connection.
My brain collection: Seven degrees might seem excessive, but each one gave me a different lens for viewing human behaviour. I'm like a human behaviour detective with multiple specialties.
I make neuroscience fun: I've been told I can make brain science accessible to anyone, which is probably why audiences give me perfect 10/10 scores. Complex concepts become simple when you understand the story behind them.
I challenge everything: I question status quo assumptions about change, leadership, and human nature. What if humans aren't naturally resistant to change? What if belonging is more powerful than psychological safety? I love turning conventional wisdom on its head.
I work with extremes: From elite athletes to criminals, from CEOs to psychopaths—studying behaviour at the extremes shows you patterns you'd never see in the middle.
How I can help
Making the unconscious conscious to understand and predict human behaviour for real impact.
Leading under pressure by showing how the brain truly responds to stress—and how to harness it.
Driving organisational transformation by decoding resistance and guiding change that sticks.
Unlocking peak performance by aligning the 90% of unconscious decisions with conscious goals.
Future-proofing organisations by applying human psychology to an AI-driven, digital-first world.
