Meet Lizzie Williamson
What are you waiting for? Most of us are waiting - for more time, more energy, the perfect moment to make the change or start the thing. And while we wait, nothing moves. Days get busy, excuses creep in, and everyone thinks, "I know what I should do… I'm just not doing it." Meanwhile, the goal rolls into next year, and the energy drains away. Waiting feels safe, but it's the most expensive thing we do.
I'm Lizzie Williamson, a motivational keynote speaker, and I get it, because I've lived it.
I started out as a cruise-ship dancer, performing in high heels on a stage moving beneath me on the high seas where I learned you can't wait for the conditions to be perfect, or you'll never step out. Years later, navigating postnatal depression, I found myself waiting again until I took the smallest step I could: just two minutes. That became The Two Minute Method™.
Dubbed the "Excuse-Buster from Down Under" 🇦🇺 by the US media, I'm a TEDx speaker and author of Just Two Minutes, Two Minute Moves and The Active Workday Advantage. I've been featured on Good Morning America, The Today Show, am a regular guest on Sunrise, and spoken to rooms of 10 and 10,000, with conferences featuring Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Tony Robbins, Arianna Huffington and the Dalai Lama.
Organisers book me for workshops and keynotes to open a conference with a bang or close it on a high. This is no sit-back-and-listen session. People move, laugh, connect and feel the shift in the room. They leave with the Two Minute Method™: a simple way to reset energy, bust excuses and take action before they've even left their seat.
"Such a great energy to have at the event." Toyota "Lizzie's philosophy and passion are infectious." Medibank "Left all our attendees departing on a high note." ATO
Ready to get your audience to stop waiting and start? Let's talk. Stop waiting. Start now. Just two minutes. What are you waiting for?
My Why
I believe that transformation doesn't require monumental leaps. It begins with two minutes.
I discovered this truth in my darkest moments of postnatal depression, when even the smallest task felt impossible. When the weight of expectations and the paralysis of overwhelm threatened to consume me, I found that two minutes could change everything. This is what saved me. And I share it it because I know it can help others too.
Action is not just about doing - it's about breaking free from perfectionism, analysis paralysis, and the crushing weight of "should." Action is what moves us forward. Action is what breaks us free. Action is the antidote to despair. But I know firsthand that sometimes, action feels impossible.
This is what I know to be true:
1. Every big change can happen two minutes at a time. I've watched the greatest transformations start with the smallest steps.
2. Progress is not measured in leaps but in moments. Two minutes of focused intention is more powerful than hours of anxious planning.
3. Imperfect action trumps perfect inaction. I've learned to embrace the messiness of beginning, because clarity comes through movement, not through waiting.
4. Everyone deserves the dignity of starting where they are. Whether you're battling depression, overwhelm, or life's countless demands, two minutes is accessible to you.
5. Small actions add up to big changes. I've seen how consistent two-minute moves create lasting transformation.

Fun facts
As a former cruise ship dancer, I know firsthand that the energy you bring to your work matters. Picture this: I’m backstage, decked out in sequins, about to step onto a stage that’s quite literally rocking. The audience? Let’s just say they’ve had one too many piña coladas. My body ached, my energy was shot, and the last thing I wanted to do was high-kick my way through another number - without knowing where I’d land (because on a moving boat, who does?). But the show must go on and night after night, I learned how to shift my energy - fast - because people were counting on me to show up and deliver.
How I can help
Boost resilience and energy
Cultivate a positive mindset
Create a supportive and energised team culture
Make workplace wellbeing ridiculously easy
Disrupt long hours of a sedentary workday

Celebrate Every Small Win (This Is How You Build Real Momentum) ↗
Most people wait until they've hit the big goal before they let themselves celebrate. But that's exactly what kills momentum.
In this clip from a live keynote, I lead the audience through one of my favourite exercises - grab your own pom-poms and do this every time you take one small step in the direction you want to go. Because every time you pause to celebrate a small win, you're training your brain to keep moving forward.
It sounds simple but it works.
This is the core of how I talk about building momentum — progress isn't just about pushing harder, it's about noticing you're already moving.
No death by powerpoint here ↗
Excuse whackers. Pom poms. Gratitude notes on foreheads. And a real story about finding your way back when everything falls apart. This isn't your average conference keynote. No death by PowerPoint. No generic resilience lecture. Just real tools, real movement, and a room full of real estate professionals who face more rejection before 10am than most people do in a week and needed something that actually worked.
But don't take our word for it. Here's what real estate professionals said after experiencing it firsthand: "Lizzie's 2-minute moves was EXACTLY what I needed at this time" "Lizzie Williamson’s high energy presentation highlighting her 2 minute moves" “Lizzie's energy for the whole presentation"
And from the event manager herself: “Lizzie was a hit! We really needed to set the tone and bring the vibe and Lizzie did that in spades."
Lizzie Williamson — motivational speaker, creator of the Just 2 Minutes method, and "The Excuse Buster from Down Under" — didn't build this method in a boardroom. She discovered it during one of the hardest chapters of her life, recovering from postnatal depression, when even getting off the couch felt impossible. Two minutes of movement was all she could manage. And it changed everything.
Now she brings that same method to stages across Australia, America, and beyond and in this highlight from a Real Estate Institute conference, watch her take a room full of fatigued professionals and completely flip the energy.
Expect interaction, laughter, genuine connection, and movement because Lizzie doesn't just talk about energy and mindset; she moves the whole room through it. The laughter is real. The transformation is real. And the tools are ones your audience will actually use long after they leave the room.
Every single person walks out with a toolkit of 2-minute moves they can take straight back to their desk, their team, and their life — for the days when work is relentless, the calendar is full, and "I don't have time" feels like the only honest answer.
Just 2 minutes. That's genuinely all it takes.
This keynote is perfect for your real estate event if your audience needs to: - Shake off conference fatigue and re-engage fully - Walk away with tools simple enough to use on the way to their next listing appointment - Feel genuinely moved and inspired, not just entertained - Experience real connection, laughter, and a lasting mindset shift
