Meet Dwayne Bannon-Harrison

I’m Dwayne Bannon-Harrison, a proud Yuin man with a passion for sharing culture, creating meaningful connections, and helping shape a more respectful and inclusive tourism industry. I run Ngaran Ngaran Pty Ltd and Mirritya Mundya, where I design cultural experiences that connect people to Country through story, food, and knowledge. Whether it’s walking on sacred sites or hosting shared meals, my work is all about honouring culture and creating space for learning.

I represent New South Wales through NATOC (NSW Aboriginal Tourism Operators Council) and contribute to the National Indigenous Tourism Partnership, helping guide how Indigenous tourism grows across the country—making sure it’s led by mob, reflects real community needs, and respects our diverse Nations.

I also work with groups like Trippas White Group, bringing First Nations storytelling and food into iconic venues like the Sydney Opera House, Taronga Zoo, and Sydney Tower as part of events like Vivid Food.

Alongside all this, I consult with organisations on their Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs)—helping them go beyond words and tick-boxes to take real, respectful action.

At heart, I’m a storyteller and connector. I believe in truth-telling, cultural strength, and walking forward together with integrity. I’m also lucky enough to speak at events and forums where I get to share what I’ve learned and keep the conversation moving.
