Meet Chibs Okereke

I know what it’s like to push hard, achieve success, and still feel like something’s missing. As a former burned-out CEO turned stress and burnout coach, I’ve been on both sides of the high-performance spectrum—thriving on ambition yet battling exhaustion behind the scenes.

Through my own journey of burnout, recovery, and transformation, I discovered that success doesn’t have to come at the cost of well-being. That’s why I created ‘Mindfulness for Strivers’—a framework designed to help high-achievers navigate stress, build resilience, and find sustainable success.

I have a masters in Organisational Psychology, and I’m an accredited MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) facilitator and meditation teacher. I’ve led hundreds of transformative workshops worldwide. My approach blends science-backed strategies with real-world experience to help professionals manage stress without slowing down.

I’m also one of the leading voices on the Calm app, and through my guided meditations and mindfulness content on Calm and YouTube, I’ve impacted over 4 million lives. Whether through speaking, coaching, or digital content, my mission is simple: helping ‘Strivers’ achieve more—without burning out.

My Why

High achievers aren’t just shaping their own lives—they’re shaping the world. Leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, and change-makers have the power to create ripples of transformation that extend far beyond themselves. But too often, the very people capable of making the biggest impact are also the ones most at risk of burnout, stress, and self-doubt.

I focus on high achievers not just to help them, but because by empowering them, I can help create a wider, lasting impact on society. When strivers find balance, resilience, and clarity, their work benefits entire communities. Their leadership becomes more intentional, their businesses more sustainable, and their influence more compassionate.

But stress and burnout aren’t just byproducts of ambition—they often stem from deeply ingrained patterns of overachievement. Many high performers don’t realise that their relentless drive comes from early experiences where achievement became a source of safety, validation, or identity. By helping people understand these patterns, I guide them toward healthier, more sustainable success—one that isn’t driven by fear or external validation but by true fulfilment.

This is why I created Mindfulness for Strivers—to give ambitious professionals the tools to achieve more while suffering less, to thrive without exhaustion, and to redefine success in a way that benefits both themselves and the world around them. Because when high-achievers are at their best—not just professionally, but mentally and emotionally—their impact is limitless.

Fun facts

(1) I’m 6 foot 7, but I won’t look that big on Zoom—so if you book me, don’t be alarmed when you see me in real life.

(2) I share my time between Sydney and Los Angeles.

(3) I played for Great Britain in American football—yes, it’s a paradox!

(4) I work with Bear Grylls on the Mettle app, but I’d probably last about two hours in the wild.

(5) Despite being a mindfulness expert, my mind is always busy—I’m a Type-A meditation teacher!

(6) I am all in on Artificial Intelligence—hopefully, when it takes over, it will remember that I was its biggest fan.

(7) I have two tiny Lhasa Apso dogs—and yes, I look utterly ridiculous when I take them for walks.
